Job Summary An established company located on the Fylde coast, Bestplate Ltd require a self-motivated problem solver to provide IT and technical support assistance to our customer base, ranging from small independent garages and motor factors, to large prestige franchise dealerships. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide 1st line support to the existing client base;
  • Diagnose and correct faults with thermal and laser printers, PCs and associated hardware/software including our own bespoke software, both by phone and using remote support tools;
  • Escalating more complex calls appropriately;
  • Inspecting IT equipment returned from customers to diagnose, document and repair faults;
  • Installation and configuration of operating systems, printer devices and firmware updates;
  • Refurbishing PCs/printers, including exterior cleaning to a good standard;
  • Packing of equipment ready for despatch;
  • Assist with training field based sales staff on installation and support of IT systems;
  • Opportunities to provide help with internal R&D projects, software testing etc;
  • Customer site visits where required, sometimes requiring overnight stays
Desired Skills and Qualifications Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with PC/printer hardware and software, including printers and printer drivers;
  • Having a good telephone manner with the ability to converse with customers effectively;
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritise tasks;
    Proactive approach, capable of identifying opportunities to improve systems and support;
  • 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C) including Maths and English
  • Full driving licence (clean preferred)
Hours of Work
  • 8:30am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday (1 hour lunch) – Total 40 hours per week

We’re going through a period of exciting change and growth, and we’re looking for an experienced screen printer to join our team.

The Role

  • Setting up, adjusting and operating various types of print equipment and performing cleaning and maintenance checks to both manual and semi-automatic print down frames- ensuring Health & Safety standards are met.
  • Screen Set Up and Breakdown Producing high quality products that meet our customer's expectations
  • Performing quality checks and Ensuring all prints produced are of a high quality
  • Keep the screen print area clean and tidy
  • To adhere to all company health and safety procedures

Position Summary:

Finance assistant reporting to the Financial Controller

Part of Zell-em Group finance team.

This is a Full Time and Permanent Position

You are responsible for:

  • Varied accounting tasks on Sage 50 Accounts and Focus accounting systems
  • Credit control
  • Including some data analysis work
  • Assistance in Implementation of new finance application – Sage X3
  • Effective and regular communications with other personnel within the Company.
  • To support the department in achieving the necessary standards of service required and expected by the Company
  • Compliance with Zell-em Group policies and procedures particularly respecting Internal Control Procedures
  • Answering the telephone in a timely and courteous manner and effectively deal with the matters/ queries arising.

Your main duties include:

  • Complying with procedures/processes within the finance function
  • Control of book-keeping functions, including entry of sales and purchase ledger transactions, input into general ledger and at least monthly reconciliation of some general ledger control accounts.
  • Dealing with customer and supplier queries
  • Computerised Bank reconciliations
  • Supplier Bacs payments process
  • Ad hoc data analysis duties and provision of reports and analysis.
  • Cover for staff as and when required eg holidays, peak times.
  • Comply and adhere to all set timescales and deadlines
  • Calculating salesmen’s commissions
  • Anything else not covered above.

Preferred qualifications:

  • It is expected that the position holder will have practical experience using recognised Accounting systems (eg Sage 50 Accounts).

Have proven and practical experience with:

  • Experience using recognised accounting systems and ability to analyse ‘ad hoc’ data reports
  • Able to work on own initiative and have flexible attitude
  • MS office applications – particularly Excel, Access database (preferable) and PowerPoint
  • IT related tasks
  • Working as part of a team
  • Communication at all levels

Hours of work:

Job Description

Required for immediate start, we are looking for a highly motivated and hardworking individual to join our cleaning team in Lytham St Annes.

The cleaning operative must have;

  • An eye for attention to detail Excellent organisational skills
  • Capable of working alone or part of our team

Duties to include:

  • General cleaning in welfare & office areas.
  • Emptying bins in office & factory areas.
  • Floor cleaning in office & factory areas.
  • Local delivery and pick ups

Previous experience is preferred but not essential as full training is given.

HOURS OF WORK ARE: 1pm - 5pm - Monday - Friday, if you are unable to fulfil these hours please do not apply.
