The Role

The role of the BDM is to win, retain and develop new commercial business in the North-West area, focusing on SME’s within the Mid-Market sector.Key responsibilities include:

  • Selling Signage Solutions, Corporate Workwear & Promotional Products.
  • Developing and building relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Identify opportunities across the region for sales of current and new products/services for all companies within the Group.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from Prospecting to closing then managing the order process with internal departments.
  • Report weekly on activity and manage pipelines in line with business expectations.
  • The role will report direct into the head of sales.

The Candidate

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within business-to-business field sales.
  • Experience and knowledge of working within Promotional Merchandise, Custom-Branded Clothing, Branded Solutions or Print / Signage would be advantageous.
  • Driven by the achievement of targets.
  • A bright, competitive new business hunter with the drive and ambition to meet targets and develop a new customer base.
  • Well organised with the ability to manage your time and sales pipeline effectively.
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal and customer facing skills.
  • Experienced in building and maintaining effective working relationships at all levels.
  • A basic working knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Outlook and Excel).
  • Must live within commutable distance to customers located within the North-West region.

The Region

  • The role covers the Northern Region and is a field-based sales role. The role will be 4 days field based and 1 day in the office.

The Role

We are looking to recruit an Administration Assistant to join our busy team. A background in Admin with knowledge within the print, signage, POS, Labels, promotional gifts or corporate clothing would be a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities / Requirements:

  • Deliver a high level of customer service
  • Ensure that customer orders are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
  • Accurate order entry, ensuring price, delivery location, order details and product style are correct
  • To facilitate quotes for customer enquiry’s
  • Weekly proactive contact with clients to ensure that they are happy with the service
  • Dealing with day to day queries
  • Complaint logging, confirming lead times, advising clients
  • Working with customers to deliver exceptional design / innovation support
  • Supporting internal / external teams in the delivery of jobs
  • General day to day office / administration duties

Zell-Em Group is looking for a full-time Network Administrator to join their busy internal IT team.

The duties of the Network Administrator would be:

Assist the internal IT team with various duties, including the following:

Set up users’ work areas with computers, VOIP phones and necessary peripheral devices (printers, scanners, mice etc.)

Install and configure appropriate software (e.g. MS Office) and facilities/connections according to requirements;

Troubleshoot issues with various items of office IT hardware and software, including PCs, laser and inkjet printers;

Carry out proactive checks of network, servers, workstations and other equipment;

Help maintain security and privacy of networks and computer systems, ensuring security patches and anti-virus is kept up to date;

Complete backup and replication routines, making sure they have run correctly (Veeam), investigate any issues;

Help maintain on-premise VOIP PBX, making extension/phonebook changes as necessary, monitoring backups, looking up calls etc;

Provide help and guidance to users on how to operate software and computer/phone equipment;

Organise and schedule upgrades and maintenance with as little downtime for users as possible;

Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging software, reading logs etc.);

Maintain inventory of equipment using both IT management software and spreadsheets etc as appropriate;

Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes, and solutions to issues which may crop up again;

Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders accordingly;

Help maintain CCTV, Door Access control and Time management systems, working with partners;

Assist with writing/maintaining macros in Office VBA and Filemaker Pro as applicable;

Escalate problems as necessary;

Help maintain IT-related documentation as required;

Assist with IT projects, liaising with developers and other third parties where necessary

Required Skills and Qualities:

Proven experience as IT Technician, Network Administrator or relevant position

Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills

Good communication skills both written and verbal

Good organisational and time-management skills

Good understanding and working knowledge of networks, virtual servers (VMWare) and Windows server including File and Print, Active Directory and Exchange Control Panel;

Experience of using, distributing and maintaining antivirus and internet security software;

Good working knowledge of MS Office including Word , Excel, Access and Outlook including VBA macros, Excel formulas and form, query and report creation in MS Access;

Working knowledge of Linux would be beneficial;

IT Qualifications/Certification as IT Technician/Network Administrator will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Network +, CCNA etc)

Mon-Fri, 08:30-17:30, salary would be negotiable depending upon experience.

Position Summary:

Database/ Finance Administrator reporting to the Financial Controller

Part of Zell-em Group finance team.

This is a Full Time and Permanent Position

You are responsible for:

Varied accounting tasks on Focus accounting systems and Sage 50 Accounts

Including some database administration/ analysis work

Management of manufacturer members database

Production of monthly reports to deadlines

Production of ad hoc costing reports

Assistance in Implementation of new finance application – Sage X3

Effective and regular communications with other personnel within the Company.

To support the department in achieving the necessary standards of service required and expected by the Company

Compliance with Zell-em Group policies and procedures particularly respecting Internal Control Procedures

Answering the telephone in a timely and courteous manner and effectively deal with the matters arising.

Your main duties include:

Complying with procedures/processes within the finance function

Control of book-keeping functions, including entry of sales and purchase ledger transactions, input into general ledger and at least monthly reconciliation of some general ledger control accounts.

Ad hoc data analysis duties and provision of reports and analysis.

Cover for staff as and when required eg holidays, peak times.

Comply and adhere to all set timescales and deadlines

Anything else not covered above.

Preferred qualifications:

It is expected that the position holder will have practical experience using recognised Accounting systems (eg Sage 50 Accounts).

Have proven and practical experience with:

Experience using recognised accounting systems and ability to analyse ‘ad hoc’ data reports

Able to work on own initiative and have flexible attitude

MS office applications – particularly Excel, Access database, PowerPoint, and SQL (preferable)

Be accurate, self-starter, able to work on own initiative, and able to work to deadlines

Position Summary:

Working as part of a team producing and packing car registration plates and their components, this will include using bespoke software and thermal printing processes.

Working within the requirements of an ISO 9001 accredited quality management system.

Assisting to achieve departmental targets.

 

Skills required

Basic computer knowledge, high productivity level, a good eye for detail and the ability to learn new skills.

Working closely with other team members is a very important part of this role.
